I took a looong break from blogging. To be honest, it was getting tiresome, and I felt like I was straying off course from where I had originally wanted to go with this. So, a respite, a time to clear my head and re-evaluate the reasons for writing…now I’m here again.

Some people think there’s no such thing as a stupid question.

A couple of times when we were senior pastoring, we held what we called ATP (Ask the Pastor) nights. They were cool. They [...]

Took a little blogging vacation. Now I’m feeling fresh and frisky.
It’s been an excellent season here at GT. We’ve jumped into our Spring-Summer focus, ‘Growing Together’, and it’s exciting to see people plug into what God is doing here in Moncton.
Too many church-goers think it’s all about Sunday. That the big deal of following Jesus [...]

It’s been awhile since I stopped by this blog. Tim Stevens is a smart guy. I like how he makes me stop and think.
When I surfed by tonight, this article caught my eye. I like it. You might read it and say, ‘Ouch!’ But I hope not. I hope [...]

This has shaped up to be a pretty cool weekend.
Went bowling with a bunch of young adults, laughed so hard I almost cried during the songs the dj dedicated to the man with the birthday, the man of the hour: James!
We’re getting ready for our first Soul Purpose gathering on Wednesday night. I’m looking forward [...]

“I Wish I Had Your Job”

Some people think being a pastor is all fun and games.
‘You only work one day a week…’
‘I wish I had your job…’
‘You’re lucky you don’t have to live in the real world…’
Watch this.
And pray for your pastor.
Here’s the link. Thanks, Pastor Mark, and thanks, Tim.
