I’ve played horse-shoes, lawn darts (yes, the unsafe kind) washer toss…but never cornhole.

Yesterday I was the victim of a home invasion.
Heather invited several ladies from GT over for a night of testosterone-deprivation. They brought finger-foods. Cheese plates. Brownies. Punch. Fruit trays. And they sat down in the family room to watch something horrible for 3 hours. Let me put it this way: they watched something I’m confident [...]

‘God’s in this spot, you can like it or not, so rip the knob off the volume when you give it a shot…And raise your hands as the slam starts to thicken the plot, openin’ eyes to the lies of the enemies’ lot…’ – The Slam, Toby Mac

Random thoughts on this Wednesday:
I’m so mad at myself for falling asleep during last night’s NBA Finals game. I’m not a Celtics fan, but I jumped on the bandwagon this playoffs. I really wanted to see history, but woke up @ 1:30am, and the game was over, I couldn’t find the press conference anywhere, and [...]

What do you do when you find your thinking gets stale?
I’m starting to flesh-out some ideas about ministry that have been bouncing around in my head for awhile. Some people have unknowingly been messing with my mind, and causing me to think as I’ve read their stuff.

Change lanes because you’re in a hurry? Someone else will have to hit their brakes.
Neglect to brush your teeth after lunch? Your co-workers will have to ‘enjoy’ your Caesar salad all [...]

This is an attempt to get Bill to let me use WordPress from the comfort of my familiar programs.
This is just a test. Don’t send me hate mail. Send me money if you want. Pray for me, absolutely.
I’m not home yet.

We had our 3rd annual drum-off last night at Soul Purpose. Of course, this being my first, I wasn’t sure of what to expect. Was I ever BLOWN AWAY!
Here’s the gist of what went on:
Four drum kits. Six drummers. Lights. Cameras. An amazing project to be a part of. ACTION! “One, two, one-two-three and-“

I took a looong break from blogging. To be honest, it was getting tiresome, and I felt like I was straying off course from where I had originally wanted to go with this. So, a respite, a time to clear my head and re-evaluate the reasons for writing…now I’m here again.
Some links you might want [...]
