Been awhile since I unloaded my cranium, so here goes…
- I am so mad at myself for worrying about how God was going to find us a place to live in Moncton. Turns out He knew what He was doing all along…
- I’ve been meeting some pretty cool people here @ GT. And I heard someone is opening up a new coffee shop!! Maybe they’ll have free wifi, and that can become my new office???
- The staff here like to have fun. But I think I insulted my boss when I assumed he was from Newfoundland. Turns out he’s actually a Bluenoser.
- I’m going to have to knock the rust off my French here. Parlez-vous Franglais?? Remember Duane, it’s ‘J’ai froid‘ not ‘je suis froid‘ Please be patient with me as I massacre the French language. My high school French teacher would not approve.
- I’m hoping to run into some guys who play hockey here. Along with the books I brought my gear.
- I’ve been mulling over the idea of ’systematic theology’, wondering if it really is so systematic, so neat and orderly. I’ll get back to you on that.
- I hope to get together with the young adults this Sunday night. Drink some coffee. Worship Jesus. Get to know each other better.
- I hate being away from Heather and the kids. It absolutely stinks. I have the best partner in the world and when I’m not around her regularly, I feel incomplete. A life of travelling without them is definitely not in the cards for me.
- There is a fanstastic blend of cultures here at GT. If anyone thinks heaven will be homogenous, they’ll be disappointed. Check this out!
