It’s tough to watch, but inspiring.
As tough as things like this are to watch, it is a huge inspiration. Seeing this kind of determination in people is astounding. When a person truly loves something and loves what they do, instances like this happen. It may not mean broken bones or cross country races, but inspirational and motivational stories come out of the “wood working”.
This “give your all” attitude reminds me of the movie “Facing the Giants” when the coach has one of his strongest yet doubtful players do the “death crawl”. The coach keeps yelling to “give his all”, to “not give up”. The player finally collapses a full football field away from where he started. This inspires the other players to want to win, to believe they can win.
We may not be the best, but that doesn’t stop us from being our best with what we are gifted with. Some very amazing things are done when we are a determined people, and adversity is dropped in our path.
